Severe sidewall blowout of a 3 year old michelin weatherwise with approx 30k miles on it. The tire had an even tread wear pattern, as it had been rotated in accordance with manufacturer recommendations. I would like to email you photos of the blown tire. Both weatherwise tires on the front of my 99 Ford Windstar have since been replaced.

I have made contacts before with Ford. Many items upon my vehicle have went bad since purchase. My main concern was tire blow outs. I contacted Ford after 2 tires blow outs within 3 months time. Since my contact I have had to replace an air conditioner, and other items. But my main concern was a tire blow out again that left my vehicle with front damage and my lower back in pain.

I experienced many flats with these Ford factory goodyear tires. Finally I had a dangerous blowout in the carpool lane on a freeway in orange county, calif. I immediately replaced the tires with big o tour plus tires. I haven't had another flat since. I had called Ford and goodyear before the blowout, complaining about many flat tires. They said it was normal wear and tear. I disagree. I have the four tires and receipts for proof. I believe the factory goodyear tires are dangerously soft. I am fortunate my wife and I didn't have an accident when the goodyear tire blew. Can you help us get some response from goodyear & Ford?.

The left rear tire on my minivan blew out on southbound I-75 at mile marker 309 on Tuesday sept. 5. The tire failed without warning. The vehicle was brought to a controlled stop with no injuries and no vehicle damage other than the tire. Continental general claims this failure is due to "road hazard" but there are no cuts, scratches, or punctures that makes me believe this is true. The tire had about 6500 miles on it. Outside temperature was about 80 degrees and I was driving on smooth pavement. I have the tire available for your inspection. ( dot number: acm3 44c tire size: p215/70r15 ).

Just an angry citizen who hopes that maybe you can steer me in a proper direction. I was traveling through California to santa cruz for vacation. I own a 1992 Mazda extended cab 4x4 and was the last of four cars in a very serious accident in which a brand new looking (I don't know the actual year) blew a tire (or lost front wheel) and flipped. My vehicle is totalled and it will cost me thousands to replace since my insurance will not cover all damages. Police filled out reports, people taken away in helicopters. . . . Yet my insurance company can't seem to find any police reports. Do I have any rights to pursue as the consumer? shouldn't Ford or the insurance company of the minivan pay for my losses? I don't mean to sound selfish or cold since many people were hurt, but I am currently being partially covered by my insurance for losses that were not of my fault.
