Bought this vehicle used, was fine and was a great car for months until the battery would not keep a charge. Took it to auto zone they tested my battery and alternator all was good they charged up my battery for me. The battery lasted two days next time I went to start it it was dead. Would have to drive it every day to keep a charge on it. Eventually went and bought a brand new battery. Only after a few days the battery was dead again. On a brand new battery it would need to be drove everyday to keep a charge. It's to the point where I will have to jump it to drive it and then it wont even keep a charge for a hour. Brand new battery. Nothing wrong with the alternator. No lights , etc. Being left on. Not sure what to do with it. Need my car.

A code p1682 -ignition switch circuit will pop up. I've had the problem for a year, the vehicle will seem like it doesn't have a lot of power at times. The engine light will come on, reduced engine power and traction control off. The battery voltage drops below 13 . I have changed the battery, alternator, throttle body, gas pedal sensory. It does all of that while driving, and starts to stall on me. That code popped up once last year and I took it to the shop and they said it wouldn't come up and it's doing it a lot more. I have did research and have seen many issues with a fuse block and ignition switch.

My 2018 GMC Acadia slt-1 has been having acceleration issues like shuddering and or feels like a full loss of power , with no check engine light. I've taken it into the dealership twice for this problem . I've only taken it in this 2nd time because it got worse and scared me that it would die on the highway. It also has had to have the battery charged 3 times in a couple of weeks , yet the dealer says the battery checks good. At the least I believed since its under warranty they would change the battery in the case the computer is causing issues based on battery voltage. The alternator is working , but with only 29k miles none of this battery nor acceleration shudder and stumble like its going to die should be acceptable.

After the "service battery charging system" announcement, my husband went online to find I probably needed a new battery. I drove a few blocks and had the battery/alternator tested (they were fine). When driving home the vehicle entered low power mode. Many systems started turning off: radio, heater, stability, traction, abs, speedometer, and the vehicle started chugging. By now I was on a portion of the highway that was rural and trying to make it to closest mechanic. However, the car lost power/turned off. With this was loss of power steering and I let it coast to the furthest/safest spot. I've read others lost power braking, but I let it coast so far that I wouldn't know. The car lost power to the point my 4-way flashers wouldn't work. I've paid a tow bill and have no idea what's going to happen. Very, very frustrated and disappointed. Please know one hour elapsed between my battery/alternator being tested and the car dying on the highway (I stopped quick for groceries).

My GMC Acadia denali has a little over 80,000 miles. I have other vehicles for everyday use so I only drive the Acadia for long distances over the weekend. The vehicle sits in the garage when not in use. I have had no issues with the vehicle until I took it to the dealer to have one of the head light bulbs on the passenger side replaced. After I picked the vehicle up I drove it to new york and on my way back (the next day) had the service light come on to let me know there was a problem with the battery. I looked at the battery indicator in the dash and noticed the charge was getting lower and lower. By the time I got to baltimore, MD the indicator was below 12 and the vehicle finally shut off. Towed the vehicle to the dealership and they first replaced the battery but that didn't fix the problem. They then replaced the alternator. I drove the vehicle three times and it worked fine. Three weeks later I tried to start the vehicle and had no battery power. Tried jumping the vehicle but it would not gather enough powere to start the engine. Had the vehicle towed to the dealer. They said that the new battery that was installed had a bad cell. I am afraid that's not the issue; it's obvious that something is draining the battery when the car is not in operation and it all started when I had the headlamp. I think gm is aware of electrical issues with the Acadia. I just want to make sure I put this complaint out there. I am not confident that this problem won't occur three weeks from now.

When we first purchased the vehicle the alternator went bad. The dealer replaced the alternator and battery for us. Then 6 months later the alternator went out again. They again replaced the alternator. Since then the vehicle has had a dead battery at least 4 times. Also noticed that when it rains you can hear water sloshing in the ac vents and then pours down from under dash on both the passenger and drivers side. Now my sound in the vehicle has started to cut on and off. This water issue is obviously leading to the electrical issues.
Trans went out shortly after purchase, alternator went out shortly after purchase, needed new wave plate, needed new alternator, sun roofs leak water through the interior lighting and down both a-posts. Continues to run after shut off and key removed. Slips gears, will not upshift.

Lost power steering and alternator stopped charging during more then one rain storm. The serpentine belt gets wet and slipped because it's exposed to the element from the right front wheel well.
