Engine surges when on highway causing rpm gauge to fluctuate or bounce to 2 to 400 rpms. Vehicle shaking when driving up an incline or anytime anytime putting engine under a load specially before a transmission shift. Took to GMC dealership twice and they said they couldn't locate the issue. The issue still persists.

Battery gauge is reading between 16 and 17. Dealer said it was the battery having some type of leak so the replaced the battery for free. The guage is reading the same so the service guy tells me it's the normal range. I looked it up in the book and that is not the normal range. It states to take it to the dealership and have them check the electrical. So I'm supposed to enlighten them on what they should have known from the beginning? very aggravated because now I go back Tuesday of next week for the recall problems and now this. It's like a dog chasing his tail. They sure all run to you when they want to sell you a new one but give you the run around over something they should know. Guess they assumed me being a woman would just accept that answer. This isn't my first rodeo.
While traveling along a speedy freeway my check engine light came on along with the following messages, check gauges, traction control off, service traction control, service stabletrak, engine power reduced. My vehicle dropped from 70 miles per hour to 45 miles per hou in less than ten seconds. When stopped on the side of the freeway my vehicle began to shake before I turned off he car. Turning off the car resets the problem, but it came back four more times.
