The contact owns a 2003 GMC Envoy. The contact stated that while driving approximately 45 mph, he attempted to brake and the front end of the vehicle released smoke. The vehicle was taken to a local mechanic, who performed a diagnostic test and located the failure at the front driveshaft housing. The front drive shaft housing axel was broken. 2 Driveshaft problem of the 2003 GMC Envoy

Failure Date: 07/10/2003

I purchased my 2003 Envoy in may 2003. Soon afterwards I started getting a feedback through the gas pedial. It was kind of like a vibratipon. They said it was the drive shaft so they replaced it. That didn't help. Each time I take it in they say it something different, but the problem still has not been resolved. It has been worked on three times for this and I am planning on taking it back in again.
