Two problems related to brake disc have been reported for the 1997 GMC Sierra. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Brake pads overlap the rotors, part of the pads are missing from the rotors, also, missed part of the rotors. Brakes make loud noise. The pads and rotors have been replaced and dealer. Cannot duplicate the problem.
Back brakes are not functioning properly, causing the front brakes to wear out excessively. The front brakes have been replaced twice. Dealer has been notified.
