One problem related to power assist brake vacuum has been reported for the 1998 GMC Sierra. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Consumer was traveling 60 mph on highway and applied brakes, and there were no brakes. He was able to pull over to shoulder, and vehicle had to be towed. Dealership was aware of problem. The brake booster was replaced and failed again.
