One problem related to brake drum shoes/linings has been reported for the 2000 GMC Sierra. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
: the contact stated the rear passenger side tire had excessive wear and a noise was coming from the rear of the vehicle at various speeds. The contact removed the tire and replaced the caliper, rotor, and shoes. The vehicle was not inspected by a dealer or independent repair shop.
