Two problems related to anti-lock brakes fail have been reported for the 2001 GMC Sierra. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Constant low speed antilock failure.
Anti-lock brake failure possibly related to NHTSA action number : pe05020. Anti-lock brakes activate at low speed increase distance to stop without warning. Possible leading to rear ending of other vehicles and the possibility of injury to occupants of other vehicles. When concerns were addressed by dealer was told to replace sensors and clean rust or "pull the fuse and ignore abs lights on dash.
