--unwanted reduction in the front hvac blower speed and loss of radio, auto ac not working as designed --driver seat vibrating as the lane departure warning activated; I had turned the seat vibrate function off on 25 June 2023. I then went into settings to turn the function off again, and the system would not allow to make the change, it stayed in vibrate function --the passenger front window will not go up automatically, had to hold the button to make the window go up all the way. I then had a message in the dic, that said, “open and close passenger door”. I did so, at the next stop, but the message stayed on the dic and the window still would not go up automatically with the button -- when the vehicle is operated and the ac is not on, just the fan, and windows down, and the auto temp set at 68 degrees, when at idle, there is an obvious increase in very hot air coming from the vents and stays that way until the vehicle is back in motion. Then it seems to adjust back toward normal outside air. During all this operation the recirculation is open to outside air --auto rain sensing windshield wipers; stops at full arc and hesitates during operation --driver side review mirror does not go back to preset 1 position, when put in reverse, both mirrors tilt lower, as I have set, but when put back into drive, the driver mirror does not fully recover until I push the 1 setting --dic message of key not in vehicle, even when the key is in vehicle and vehicle is in motion, the dic message stays on screen saying key not in vehicle --with ac in on position, cold air stops and very warm/hot air starts coming out for about 30-60 seconds, then cold air starts coming out again, happens during driving and stopped, at any speed --truck wifi does not connect automatically software not updated from gm- other safety items are affected --auto headlights --auto brakes --auto wipers --auto systems not working as designed.

Started my truck to go to the store. When me and my son got in we could smell like hot plastic burning. Figured someone was burning trash so we proceeded to the store. About a mile down the road it sounded like someone fired a gun inside the cab of the truck. So being a combat veteran it triggered me! I instantly swung for the back seat thinking someone was back there and noticed the rear sliding window on the drivers side had blown and shattered. I found a recall online that gm had put out about this specific issue happening. So when I called varney GMC of bangor maine. They told me the recall had ben done at 97000 miles and there was nothing they could do unless I paid for it….

My back window leaks and gm has said that the warranty is over by years not miles it is not covered.
Started my truck and started driving. It was a very foggy night with lots of mist in the air, so I turned on the defroster to clear fog/dew from the side view mirrors. About 10-15 minutes later I hear a very loud pop inside the truck. It turns out my rear driver side window was completely exploded/shattered. This seems to be a known issue in these trucks.

Rear defroster (with sliding rear window) thermal events with arcing and hissing, smoke smell present. Matches the same description as provided in document n192265660. Gm will not cover my vehicle because it was not delivered to a dealer in any of the states listed in the document. There is evidence in the vehicle of thermal events, however gm wants me to pay $1000-$1500 for a new rear sliding window.
The rear window on this vehicle is leaking water and has been for some time. It has become quite bad and is causing an odor and discoloration in the carpet. I could not find the cause of the problem until recently with the plastic cracking more. The vehicle has 41,000 miles and the dealer stated that is out of warranty and all repairs would be a cost to me. I researched this and have found it is a common fault this this vehicle.
Rear window leaks in water at the top of the seal.

Rear 3rd brake light and rear window are leaking water into the cab causing visibility issues.
Similar to the canadian recall that effected those models, the rear defrost on the power sliding window malfunctioned, produced a weird smell like fire and promptly exploded, shattering the window. Vehicle is being used normally with no aftermarket products.

When operating my truck two days ago, I smelled something burning. I then noticed a small plume of white smoke coming from the rear driver's side window area. I then noticed my rear defroster was on, which I shut of right of way. About 30 seconds later, I heard a loud pop and I noticed the rear driver's side portion of the window was shattered. I brought my truck to the dealership and they said they could not figure out what happened. I believe it is tied to a prior recall, but they said my truck was found not to have any issues at that time. I believe there is a direct correlation with the recall issued and what happened a couple of days ago.

On 9/22/2020 a recall service was performed on my defroster/ power sliding rear window under n192265660. On 1/13/2022 I was driving down the road with the rear defroster on, a smell of burning plastic and a low hissing noise. I was in the process of pulling over to inspect this and the back window of my pickup burst, sending me swerving onto the side of the road. I booked an appointment with the dealer, they are telling me they cannot replace this since the recall was already serviced. Obviously the fix gm is putting into our vehicles is as dangerous as the original design. This needs to be remedied and gm needs to be held accountable, bursting rear windows can cause terrible accidents, luckily I am safe.

The driver-side mirror on my 2021 GMC sierra is unusable at freeway speed. When traveling at freeway speed the glass moves due to wind and causes the reflection in the mirror to be blurry. The reflection from the mirror is blurry to the point that I'm unable to identify objects in the mirror and it is difficult to gauge size and closing speed of any objects in the mirror. The issue has been with the vehicle since I purchased it new in June of 2021. The issue has been reproduced by two different dealership service centers and the entire driver-side mirror assembly has be replaced twice with the issue persisting. I have videos showing the issue but they are too large of files to upload on this form.

Sun glare reflects off center console cup holder with such intensity it's hard to focus on the road even with sunglasses on.
While driving on a state highway, I heard a "pop" sound, I saw nothing contact the vehicle, but I then noticed the windshield was cracked. The windshield cracked for no apparent reason. .
Back window started smoking next to handle to open sliding window then shattered then started falling out. I was moving and in in reverse backing up when this happened. (left section of back window).
Vehicle was stationary on the street, parked. I entered it, and turned on my front and rear defrosters with the setting on "hi. " I turned around and verified that my vehicle had not been hit nor was any damage at all apparent to me. At some point as I sat there with the car idled and the heated air reaching its maximum temperature, I began to smell some foul smell in the cab that I believed was exhaust entering the cabin. I rolled down the window. As I brushed the snow from the front and began to drive away, I heard a noise that I believed was the snow falling from the roof. However, as I rolled away, I noticed a louder-than-normal cabin. Upon looking behind me, I noticed the rear right window within the sliding rear cabin window had blown out. Upon inspecting the area, I noticed that no snow or water was present inside. Given that we had received a lot of snow the previous evening through the morning, had the damage occurred throughout the evening or early morning, there would've been moisture present.
Wipers froze to windshield while driving with defroster on max. Design of the windshield and dash means wipers sit lower than where the dash and windshield meet, and no warm air from the defroster can get to the windshield where the wipers sit. There is no in window defroster (like rear window) which can help. Major safety issue in snow/ice conditions.
Used the remote start to warm the truck up. Got in and was leaving my driveway and the rear window exploded. Read defrost was on since we received 6+ inches on snow today.
Drive truck to the store got back home when I shut my door stationary I heard a loud shattering sound it turned out to be my rear window looked online it looks like this is becoming a common occurance called GMC they said it is all he say she say and no recall is available, if there had been a person in the back seat they would have possibly been injured with the glass exploding.
Smelled electrical burning and then seconds later the driver side of my rear window exploded into pieces with a loud bang.
Back up camera is awful at night. This is a safety issue because you cannot see anything when backing up. My truck has 323 miles on it and I went to dealership they said I would have to live with it. That is not acceptable to have a safety feature that is faulty.
Passenger headlight will not turn on. Both lowbeam and high beam don't turn on. Bulb is in working condition, fuses are not blown, can't seem to find a solution. This makes the vehicle very dangerous with no right side visibility. Unkown reason behind the problem.

Vehicle was remote started- rear defrost turned on automatically due to outside temperature. Rear defrost overheated and shattered rear power sliding window (rpo a48) while stationary. Burning smell was noted. Gm claims my VIN is not associated with special customer satisfaction program n192265660.
Tl-the contact owns a 2019 GMC 1500 while driving in the snow the led head lights froze and failed to produce adequate light and was unable to see the road. There were no warning lights illuminated. The contact called king Buick GMC 4175 byrd dr, loveland, CO 80538 (970) 667-8905 but was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was contacted but did not assist. The failure mileage was 1,800. Went through car wash this afternoon, upon leaving the car wash attempted to use the wipers to clean excess water off windshield. The wipers failed to work at all, tried all speeds and still nothing. All other functions on the lever work as expected, such as wiper fluid, turn signals, ect. Lucky I was near home and not far away and caught in rain where the situation could have became much more serious.

Vehicle is equipped with non hd camera. Which often is white out visibility in night time conditions. Lines sometimes appear on screen when brake is depressed.
The backup camera on the infotainment system is blindingly bright at night. When you put the truck in reverse the backup camera pops up on the infotainment screen and blinds you making it a huge safety hazard as you cannot see anything out your mirrors. This needs corrected so there is a brightness control to allow the screen to be dimmed so that you can see when backing up.

While driving in the rain the windshield wipers just stop working, the head light indicator comes on and there is no response from windshield wipers, the rain gets harder and turned the wipers back off the headlight indicator goes off, try turning the windshield wipers back on and nothing. So when on an interstate in rain with semi trucks around you or just following another vehicle, if it is racing or pouring or whatever the weather, you need the wipers to work, this is a big problem, I have searched on line issues of this and it is something that has been a complaint from brand new and still on going. Recalls were only posted for 2 models of vehicles but the problem is with the pickups as well. The wipers are a very important part of a safe ride and it is important to have this issue fixed. The price we pay for vehicles they should be safely equipped for this price.
Rear window leaks as also reported by gm when truck was manufactured (gm service bulletin 18-na-383). Water from leaking rear window gets into the electronics used for safety systems as well as rear camera and eventually disables safety systems.
