2 Integrated Trailer Brake Control problem of the 2024 GMC Sierra 2500

Failure Date: 06/15/2023

When I connect my 2024 GMC Sierra 2500hd to my camping trailer that has a solar panel and solar charge controller, it causes the factory-installed brake controller inside the truck to malfunction. The trailer brakes connect and disconnect 4 times a minute sending alerts to my dashboard. This is dangerous. My trailer weighs up to 14,000 pounds and would have to rely solely on the truck brakes to slow to a stop. Gm put out a document 6379278 / #23-na-113 "information on trailer brake disabled or dtc stored". However, there is no fix. The GMC dealer said they can't find the service bulletin?! please make this issue a recall. I bought this truck to exclusively tow a trailer and now I can't.
