The mechanic at the auto shop stated that the brake shoes and drum failed. The mechanic performed the repairs. The contact also stated that she heard a loud noise coming from the rear of the vehicle while making a turn. The noise sounded like a crash occurred. The mechanic stated that the rear end failed and then repaired the vehicle. The current mileage was 100,000 and failure mileage was 98,000.

The brakes make very loud noise. There is uneven pad wear and brake scoring. The vehicle has 3500 miles and is brand new condition. The dealer said such noise, pad wear and scoring is normal.

2002 Yukon denali brakes were not responding well and there was shuddering upon braking. ** answer required***. Four rotors were replaced as well as the parking brake drums and shoes. The inboard surface of all four rotors were extremely rusted off in spots.
