8 Air Bag Not Deploy problem

Failure Date: 03/24/2016

After taking my 05 Accord in for the driver and passenger airbag recall and having them replaced, the employee at the Honda service center told me that my srs light is on and it is probably because of the sensor for the harness. This light has been coming on and off for well over a year, and recently has just stayed on at all times. He told me it would cost $130 just to diagnose this problem, and then the cost of fixing it, if this is indeed what is causing the light to stay on. My VIN is not part of the Honda recall for this specific issue, I believe Honda somehow did not take into account all of the vins that are effected by this recall. I talked to Honda and they are unwilling to help at all. I am currently pregnant and a petite woman, the highest risk factor for this issue if the airbags fail to deploy. Very disappointed in Honda. Will be contacting my attorney after diagnosis is made, assuming diagnosis is specifically the same as the recall.
