Loud, audible grinding noise when braking, usually in reverse. Sounds like metal on metal. Drove vehicle to dealer today, was told this is a common problem, Honda is aware. Awaiting recall, etc. Issue is very distracting, especially in a parking lot. Issue also occasionally happens when slowing to a stop at low speeds.

I was turning right on a very busy four lane street and the left front cv-shaft (axle) broke into. Thank goodness I had enough momentum to get off the street. Honda had a rubber damper on the shaft that trapped salt and water, thus rusting and weaken the axle. Hinda had a recall on later model Hondas, but not my year.

The right side, passenger side, front control arm has a crack which is propagating across the structure. I am concerned about loss of steering control if the structure fractures completely. I found the crack during an oil change. I am the only person aware of the issue. I have not had it inspected by the service department at a Honda dealer. I plan to replace this control arm.

The suspension is off idk what it is. I haven’t in done anything to my car I’m the only person that drives it. I keep getting two notifications 1. Supplemental restraint problem see dealer 2. Lane assistant (power(electric) steering problem see dealer.
I bought this vehicle 8-25-2021. It had 22,000 miles on it. It now has 46,000 miles on it. I was feeling a vibration while driving. 7-31-2022 coming back from louisiana into texas I had a flat. When my husband removed the back tire to place the spare on, the tire was absolutely eaten up on the inside wall. There were chunks of rubber missing from the tire and we looked at other rear tire and it was worn beyond repair. I took my car 8-1-2023 to have 2 new back tires replaced and get an alignment, which has to be all wheel alignment due to front wheel drive. I was told that the rear camber had gone out. They quoted me $1000 to repair. I drive 40 miles one way to work Monday through Friday all highway. I do not drive over the speed limit and do not hit pot holes or curbs. Nowhere in my manual is there a schedule for alignment. I will attach a picture of the tires that were taken off 8-1-2022. This very upsetting and dangerous. I would think that a part that serious would last longer than 46,000 miles. And no one can align the tires do to this camber being broken. I don’t have the money to replace tires that often due to a defect on Honda America. I have read numerous posts from other Honda owners having this same issue. Thank you for your time and consideration. Have a blessed day.

Around 12:30pm last week, we were driving a 2021 Honda Accord on a straight and clear northbound freeway. All of a sudden, our car started to swerve left and right a few times, even though my wife tried to keep the car straight. She didn't steer the wheel much, fearing that the car may go sideways or whatever, but she just couldn't make the car straight. I was in the car and saw the dashboard flashing something red and could only remember some words like … hi…lock… in just a few seconds, she hit the barrier/divider separating the northbound/southbound freeway. After that, the car went straight and we were able to stop the car on the shoulder. It really put our life in danger but luckily no one got seriously injured. The major damage and concern the front left wheel got tucked up into the fender with a snapped lower controller arm connecting the front left wheel to suspension as in the photos. Honda refused to inspect the car because it got into an accident, but it’s clear something of the car likely the front left lower control arm went wrong / defective before the accident. We didn’t see any warning signs before the incident.

Passenger side subframe rusted out near steering/suspension components causing my sone to lose control of vehicle and crash. This is a well know defect of this vehicle.
The car shuffles on the concrete highway and causes a safety issue, and we cannot drive safely in this new vehicle purchase. I contacted my dealer smat Honda, and Honda. Com within 3 days and told them that I cannot drive the car, and I want to return it. It’s a safety risk, and it causes vertigo for both me and my wife.

The contact owns a 2022 Honda Accord. The contact stated while driving at 70 mph on a mildly rough road, the vehicle wobbled significantly. There were no warning lights illuminated. The contact continued to drive the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who test drove the vehicle on a smooth road and diagnosed that no issues were found. The dealer advised the contact that the issue was with the road where he had driven the vehicle; however, the contact had driven three other vehicles on the same mildly rough road and the vehicles did not experienced the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact stated that the failure had been reoccurring increasingly while driving. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and a case was opened. The failure mileage was approximately 500.
When turning left or right from/into a parking spot a rubbing sound (similar to two pieces of rubber rubbing against each other) can be heard in the cabin and sometimes from the left wheel well area and slightly felt in the steering wheel. No safety issues are currently present at this time but vehicle should not be having this issue in less than a year of ownership. Vehicle has been taken into hoen Honda in carlsbad, CA 5/28/22 12:47pm. Two technicians inspected the vehicle and were unable to replicate/notice the problem but customer is able to replicate it but was not possible to identify source. Noise was not profound so dealer recommended to wait until noise becomes worse to re-diagnose. Customer has a personal mechanic that recommended they take the vehicle to a dealer due to car having 8k miles and still falling under warranty but did not attempt to diagnose or repair vehicle. No warning lamps or component failure has happened yet but symptoms first appeared around January 2022. When reversing the vehicle and slightly applying the brake a loud groaning sound can be heard from the rear brakes. Due to the brakes being a safety component any noise associated with brakes becomes a safety concern. Vehicle was inspected at the same time 5/28/2022 12:47pm as the steering noise at hoen Honda in carlsbad, CA. Brake noise was not able to be replicated by technicians at the time but was recommended to lubricate rear brakes. If issue persisted customer was advised to return to the dealer for further diagnosis. Brake noise was able to be confirmed by customer's mechanic. Customer was advised to take it in to dealer for diagnosis due to vehicle having 8k miles and car still being under warranty. No warning lamps or other symptom prior to the problem. The problem first appeared in January 2022.
Front suspension makes rattling noise when driving over small bumps. Additionally, the suspension system makes loud knock sound when coming to a full stop.
Car keeps going out of line when steering wheel gets lose after bumbs. Fixed rack n pinon and steering wheel pump 2x already!.
Have a 2012 Accord. Dealer said axle was rusted and is attempting to replace it (dealer is not doing a good job and I'm having them redo under warranty. ) there was no incident as of now. Reporting because their 2013-2015 models are presently under recall for rusting in a similar part of the vehicle (the "dynamic damper" part of the cvt / axle assembly if I've understood correctly). Honda claims the rust on the 2012 is "ordinary wear and tear" but I don't buy that. Dealer tried to take pictures to send to Honda America, who wouldn't cover repair.

I [xxx] am writing this letter about my 2020 Honda Accord. VIN number [xxx]. I leased this car in January of 2019 from tampa Honda. My brother's name is on the lease and his name is [xxx] . He has been leasing cars for me over 5 years, from Honda. On February 10, 2020, I was outside cleaning my car, like I always do for the last 20 years with the car running so I can listen to the music. I was on the passenger side cleaning the inside dash board, and all of a sudden the car rolled backwards. I was in a state of shock and didn't know how to stop it. I was half way in the car, and half way outside with my feet on the ground. The car rolled out in the street and hit the car parked across street. I had to file a claim for the car I hit, plus I went to the hospital because I hurt my leg. I contacted tampa Honda and was told to take this to the service department. They wouldn't help me, so I waited to Monday, and I went to take it to the finance and spoke to [xxx] and showed him the video and showed him a video of the car going in reverse by itself and they said there is nothing they can do for me. I then contacted Honda corporation office and explained to them the situation and they gave me a case number, [xxx], and told me someone would get back to me in 3 days. The lady [xxx] contacted me and told me it was nothing wrong with the car, and she said she is sorry for what happened, but there is nothing they can do. She also told me that it is a good thing I contacted my insurance to fix the other person's car, but there is nothing she can do. I am writing this letter in hopes of getting some kind of help, because the car is not safe and they will not take it back. My neighbor has surveillance and he uploaded a video to you tube. The video is https://youtu. Be/jvy9. My neighbor put it on his youtu [xxx] information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u. S. C. 552(b)(6).
I was driving on a city road/side street at approximately 25 mph, when I turned right onto another street the vehicle jerked or seized slightly, could not control the steering and heard metal scraping on the road. Stopped vehicle immediately. Front passenger side of tire popped off was turned at about 45 degree angle and broke off the arm, ball and joint. This occurred on a relatively smooth road, no obstacles in road. Did not hit a pothole when this occurred or other object, the tire and ball and joint just broke off the arm. I believe it also damaged the drive shaft.

I bought this car with 7 miles on it. My husband instantly kept saying why is your car shaking when you apply the brakes? I didn't notice before but was, especially if your stopping from a speed of 50mph or more. By the time of my first service it was increasingly worse. I had them check it but they said it was fine. It got worse! I went back again & explained if it was fine we have a problem. They checked it again, said there must be a manufacturer defect with rotors. They machined them & put new pads. The next morning backing out of car port- scrubbing metal sound and squeal. These brakes are faulty and I can no longer trust that Honda cares. I'm trading my car for a maxima in September. I have owned 7 Hondas. This was my first brand ne one. Not good.
I purchased the vehicle in September of 2018. Since then to date, 12/08/2020, I've replaced the tires twice. The two rear tire have repeatedly worn down severely in a short time frame, cupping, wavey pattern. I've had three alignments done in this timeframe as well. No one knows what to do. This does not look good for such a respected car brand. I've owned multiple Hondas. I probably won't be making another purchase.
On startup, vehicle makes loud grinding noise coming from power steering. Vehicle is tough to turn left and right when in motion. Bubbles in power steering reservoir. Power steering fluid is leaking from hose that travels towards front of car and from power steering pump. Car has been sitting since Nov 2020 and I checked vehicle today and power steering fluid is still leaking from both hoses. Vehicle makes louder grinding noise when turning and is very stiff.
At 49,000 miles I'm on my second set of tires and needing a new set. My serviceman recommended I add a camber kit to my car in the rear (rear wheels) or I'll have to keep replacing my tires. This is getting very expensive. I have my tires checked and rotated every oil change.
Noise in suspension. Car feelis like is hydroplaning when driving in corners or curves. Also, when driving and applying gas, car is hesitating.

Hello, good morning, I want to make a complaint, I don't know if you can help me. What happened to my car was that I bought it at a major world dealership in long island city, which they told me that the car did not have an accident or total loss report, which turns out to be a lie after a few months with the car. I noticed that the car has total damage. Hey, it even has part from another vehicle. I've tried to get him to help me, but he says it doesn't have to do with the car anymore. They also charged me a guarantee of 3,000 dollars and they do not want to cover what the vehicle has in conclusion; the car has a destabilizing rear rubber, the part of the trunk enters the water, the doors on the left side do not belong to the same VIN number of the vehicle and a no number of thing. Please, I ask you to help me since I am a young latino immigrant who wants to get ahead in the united states. Right now I am using the vehicle because I don't have to go to work.

Vehicle makes a mild to moderate noise from the front wheel when traveling at low speed. The noise can be characterized as something rubbing together. It should like metal on metal. I just purchased this vehicle two weeks ago. I took it to Honda. They claimed it was the rear pads and rotors. I still hear it and after a google search I noticed hundreds more people who bought 2016-17 models are affected with no fixes or acknowledge by Honda. I'm concerned about the safety. I don't know what else to do. Thank you.
I have 4 warning lights on the dash brake, traction, steering and tire pressure warning lights. I was told that it has to due with a faulty abs control module. The part has been sold out for some time. When I talked to the gentleman at the shop he told me that a lot people have been having a problem with this. The light are always on the car drives fine but I'm worried because it controls all of the safety associated with the car.

Honda Accord 2020 lx has so much rattle problems when driving on the grooved road when accelerating, especially on bad condition highspeed road around 60-70 mph. Noise happens in the dashboard, b pillar seatbelt area, roof between b and c pillar. Which distracts people when driving, so dangerous.
I test drive 1997 Honda Accord and you had to pump the break paddle to slow it down within 4 block radius when returning the garage the service engine light came on the vehicle started vibrating this was last week this month June 2020. They selling the for $1600. The blue book show it worth $800. To 1200. This vehicle serious mechanical issu.
Driving home from airport after returning home late at night my car randomly accelerated and drive light started blinking. Car then drive normal a few more min b4 doing this again jumping on its own while only going 15 mh up to 2 and 3000tpm. I pulled over turned off car then back on. Car was fine the next 5 mile home. The next morning I drove 15miles fine when the car started this again. I pulled over noticed slight smoke but was less than 1 mile from safety so I tried making it. The car again jumped at low speed up to 3000 rpm and stayed there. Breaking and going on it's own. Once I made it to safety I parked car. Upon getting it towed found that my axel came unseated during this and lost all tran fluid. Car wouldn't go into any gear. Upon reseat of axel and replace tran fluid car seems to be ok. After reading all these other people with similar issues I'm thinking that the axel was not the issue but the result of whatever the real issue is that caused it to unseat to begin with. If it wouldn't of been the middle of the night and early morning I would of myself or someone else. I'm terrified of my car now. Luckily I was on a neighborhood street both times.
The air bag was fixed by Honda dealer free but now it shows the red light. Automatic emerlgency brake light lane keeping assistance.
