Three problems related to side/window air bag have been reported for the 1999 Honda Civic. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While driving at 55 mph and when attempting to proceed onto the interstate, consumer's vehicle was rearended which caused consumer vehicle to rearend another vehicle, causing a four car crash in which neither driver's side nor passenger's side air bags deployed. Consumer was wearing safety belt, but sustained head injuries. Consumer has yet to contact the dealer. Please provide any further details.
While driving about 35 mph consumer hit another vehicle on the right hand side. Upon impact, driver's side and passenger's side air bags didn't deploy.
Owner hit another vehicle head-on at 50mph. Upon impact, neither driver's side nor passenger's side airbags deployed. Steering wheel cracked. Vehicle has not been seen.
