Front Suspension Lower Control Arm Problems of Honda CR-V

The contact owns a 2006 Honda Cr-v. The contact stated that the vehicle was taken to the dealer to be serviced under NHTSA campaign number: 12v486000 (electrical system, visibility) when the technician alerted the contact that the stamp on the passenger-side front lower control arm was fractured and needed to be replaced. The technician made the contact aware that recall NHTSA campaign number: 12v124000 (suspension) was related to the failure but the vehicle was not included. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 65,022.

I took my vehicle to the Honda dealer for its 90,000 service. At this time Honda dealer recommended work but did not perform replace front lower arm compliance bushing, ball joints boot torn. Fortunately, he was able to direct the vehicle onto a wide, grassy patch and bring it to a stop.
