7/20/2024 Saturday at 10:53 am while driving at about 50 mph onto hwy 316 toward I-85 south, my Honda crv 2019 suddenly stalled, all alarms setup, beeping on the dashboard, while I was puzzling what was happening, the car behind us almost slammed into our car, narrowly missed by sudden turned to my lefthand side. We hit the emergency light immediately, then pull over to the side, and immediately called my favorite Honda mall of georgia dealership (hmgd), buford, GA the lady was very nice after she heard the incident, gave us the name and mentioned to contact service manager directly first thing on Monday, also scheduled us to checkup on 7/24/2024 . Me and my wife called the office again on Monday 7/22/2024 11:15 am, to reiterate the dangerous incident which occurred two days ago. However, service manager was away from the office, after a few minutes, the assistant manager responded immediately, recommended us to bring in to have a thorough checkup. Also we stated that we have been calling the office regarding the fuel injection pump recall (since 12/28/2023 regarding engine fuel injection pump replacement), for more than 5 times according to our record. The responses were no parts available until August 3x, then delayed till September 2x, recently said till this fall 2024. Having said that, if the incident happened again, while our whole family, my daughter and two grandchildren all on our favorite Honda SUV, if a semi-truck was behind us on I-85 that day, a crash accident would have been fatal the whole family and daughter and two grandkids?after hmgd completed checkup from 7/24 to 7/25, stated the technician and hqtr still could not identify any recall related issue. Then stated my crv is ready to pick up. (repair-order- 933283. Dated 07/25/2024) I was startled by the statement. Our Honda (hmgd), is willing to put our lives and safety at risk on the highway again, as long as you bring the car back for the next incident, (if you survive the crash). Really !.

2019 Honda crv. I have noticed that my oil has an amount of gas over 5% twice by analysis. I am worried about the problem of oil dilution that Honda crv's (model year 2017 & 2018) have had. I fear that I will have premature engine damage and more important loss of power or stalling on the highway as the 1. 5 liter direct injection Honda crv engines have experienced.

The engine is getting gas in the oil. I have taken oil samples that show greater than 5% gas in the engine with lower than minimum oil viscosity. I have taken it to the dealer who changed the oil. Less than 1000 miles later, the problem is back. The engine hesitates randomly especially when slowing down. I've taken the vehicle to two different dealers with the same "there's nothing we can do". I asked them if they could pull the injectors and check to see if one is faulty and was told "it's direct injection, the injectors cannot be pulled", which of course is false. The last mechanic told me that unless the oil level is more than 1. 5 inches above the add mark, there was no chance of damage to the engine. I estimate that at that level, there would be 30% gas in oil. The company stated that the problem for the 1. 5 turbo engine in the 2019 Cr-v was solved. I don't believe it has been solved based on my and others experience.

On 1/8/20 when I started my car in the morning all warning lights came on before leaving the driveway, and stayed on all the way to work, and back. Then again the following morning. I called Honda on 1/9/20, they advised to come in sooner than later. Car is at Honda now 1/10/20, they are stating all codes may be due to two codes that need to be fixed: p0302 (fuel injection), which is covered under warranty and u0129 lost communication with braking system due to a/c control unit - which will cost me $1630 for a car with only 60,000 miles on it! of note: the car's emergency brake while driving has triggered a couple of times, and all warning lights have come on before in heavy rain.

I own a 2017 Honda Cr-v 1. 5 turbo fwd and my vehicle is suffering from the affects of �oil dilution. � I regularly have my oil changed by Honda, but I noticed, upon returning from a long trip in northern inidiana over winter, a strong odor of gasoline when checking my oil-dipstick and the volume was much higher than expected. When I brought my vehicle to Honda, I was advised that Honda was aware of a problem for all 2017-2018 Cr-v 1. 5 turbos with residual gas dripping into the cylinders and eventually the oil crank-case, called �oil dilution�. I asked the Honda technician to check for gasoline in my oil, but they said no such test was available. He advised me that no fix currently exists, aside from more frequent oil changes. I then followed up with the lead technician at my dealer to resolve the safety concern, but I was verbally told that Honda does not intend to address the issue unless litigation is mandated. I believe this problem posses a major safety concern as these vehicles age and the risk of engine seizure or explosion increase. Honda north America's position is that since there are so few 2017 Cr-vs with turbo on the road, they do not see a reason to act. There is a fundamental problem with this Honda turbo fuel injection system, which was fixed for the 2019 models. A software patch is being issued by Honda canada, but this is not offered in southern states and Honda refuses to comment on the long term impact and degraded performance. I am deeply concerned for the safety of my family and fellow drivers.

According to blackstone labs. Oil analysis using oil from the first oil change at 5k miles on 1/2019 oil contaminated with gas from direct fuel injection system problem. Driveability problem due to sticking acceleration pedal. This hesitation has almost caused accidents. My wife is reluctant to drive this vehicle. This fuel contamination of crankcase oil can cause serious damage to internal engine parts. This is a major problem regarding city & highway driving that acceleration is needed to maintain traffic flow. I have to be careful to avoid having to need to accelerate causing major hesitation (flat) & accelerator pedal stuck in down ( to floorboard) position.

Tl-the contact owns a 2017 Honda crv. The contact stated fuel penetrated the engine oil. The contact inspeceted the vehicle oil level and found an e himself he found that the dip stick also had oil. The failure was experienced numerous times. The vehicle was taken to russ darrow Honda dealer 10851 w metro auto mall, milwaukee, WI 53224, phone (414)-586-5400. The dealer advised that that engine oil was consistent, the engine was normal with fuel injection designe, and the dealer did not find any excess oil. The contact also stated that the manufacturer updated the warranty for oil distrubution that had to due with the fuel mixing with the oil. The manfucturer was contacted. The failure approximate failure mileage was 2,645. Li.

The 2015 Honda Cr-v has a problem with a vibration while the car is stopped idle and in drive at slow speeds the idling occurs at every stop light, and in heavy highway bumper to bumper traffic. The vibrations are experienced in the front passenger and driver seats and center console. Drivers and passengers experience motion sickness including headaches, nausea. Any new passenger in my vehicle is startled by the vibrations. Every new passenger comments about the startling vibrations. Some passengers even scream due to the startling vibrations. All of this is extremely distracting to the driver who is trying to pay attention to the traffic. The car feels like it is hesitating and will stall when the gas petal is depressed. This has not happened yet, but the issue is getting worse not better. Honda admits to this issue, but offers no resolution and calls this merely an annoyance. This issue is getting worse and the manufacturer has been given a chance to fix the issue. I am not certain if the issue is the motor, transmission, or fuel injection system. It could be any of those systems. The attempt to make the Cr-v more fuel efficient by using the Honda accord's engine has been a failure and resulted in a major safety issue with the cars.
