My rear passenger door will not open from outside or inside. This poses a huge safety issue!!! also the tailgate only opens on occasion!.

The automatic closing of the tailgate is hazardous and has closed on me several times. Car was parked and not moving every time leaning into the rear of the vehicle with feet under the bumper is enough to close the tailgate. . Turning around when near the bumper will cause it to close. One time I was knocked down tring to avoid the closing and fell and took several layers of skin off my shoulder and arm. Once it starts it will not stop even if a person tries to hold it.

Was packing my cr v and noticed very tiny rust spots all over the tailgate. Then when opening the tailgate noticed 3 bigger rust spots. I called Honda 104 where I bought the car and they told me too bad.

Tailgate window shattered for no reason. My vehicle was parked in a parking lot. I opened the backseat driver side door to get something from the backseat and within seconds heard a loud pop. I looked up and out the back window and it was completely shattered. It was still all in tact, just shattered. I looked at the window and there was no apparent reason why it would have shattered. When I shut the door a large chunk from the middle fell into the car.
The vehicle was parked in a parking lot. I opened the tailgate to store my goods. I began to close the tailgate. The tailgate was being closed by the rear switch and the left edge hit my head. It continued closing for an additional 1-2 seconds before reversing and re-opening. It resulted in a laceration and bleeding that required first-aid.
The key fob will automatic open all windows and moon roof if unlock button is hit in a certain sequence accidentally. Also, you can accidentally open tailgate. Honda needs to have a disable feature. Both of these have happen twice on me.
The "tailgate cover" detached and flew off while driving on the interstate at 70 mph - not turning, stopping, or decelerating. Thankfully, it hit the road surface and not another driver! upon stopping and closer inspection, there are three (3) broken plastic peg-like things still in their connectors. There are two screws with broken plastic around them. There are three white ports with no pins connected, leaving me to assume those three connecting pins were not adequately engaged leading to the failure.
The tailgate and rear passenger side door will lock and cannot be unlocked. This has happened twice. The first time in November 2015 stayed locked for two days. The second time was December 19, 2015 and stayed locked for four hours. The dealership says cannot determine problem as by the time of appointment the doors had unlocked. The american Honda corp says can only be fixed if able to take vehicle to dealership while locked. The locking of doors occurs when stopping and getting ready to get out of vehicle. The actuator of the drivers door and passenger door have been changed, one covered by Honda, most recent I had to pay. Honda corp does not have info of possible problem fixed on other vehicles so I could tell dealership.

2005 crv tailgate ajar light illuminates when on rough surfaces or on the highway. The light indicated that the door may be open. Sometimes it was a false alarm, but in some cases the door was not closed securely.

I have multiple issues with vehicle: 1) engine stalls while driving, which interrupts power steering. This occurs generally within the first mile of driving, now daily. Initially, problem occurred at random, once or twice per month. Regular service checks revealed no problem. The car runs without problems all day once the initial stalling of the engine has occurred. Consumer information has found this to be an ignition switch problem, but Honda-authorized service dealer refused to acknowledge any recall or problem on this model on 1/17/2004. Instead, Honda claims that a scheduled "valve adjustment" would correct the problem. Engine stalling and interruption of power steering is a serious safety problem while driving, and the occurrence is not predictable - how can I be satisfied with a "valve adjustment" and take the car back on the road?
2) advanced tire wear. The vehicle only has 33,000 and I had to replace tires. Firestone / bridgestone dealer mentioned that the wear is premature and sold me a new set of tires for a fair price. Honda authorized dealer mentioned that it is driver/owner responsibility to maintain vehicle tire pressure and rotate tires according to scheduled maintenance. I have rotated and keep correct pressure in tires at all times. 3) while making a sharp turn (more noticeable while making a u-turn) primarily from the rear of the vehicle, a loud howling noise can be heard. The same firestone / bridgestone dealer noticed the same sounds and referred me to the Honda dealer. Honda authorized dealer mentioned that a lube service is necessary to take that howling noise away from my vehicle. Firestone / bridgestone believe more than a lube job is needed. 4) rear glass trunk lid leaks during car washes and strong windy rain.
