Gasoline Engine Problems of Honda Passport

I purchased a 2001 Honda Passport VIN # 4s6dm58w514400127 at curry Honda crompond road yorktown heights NY 10598 date 03 June 2002 with vehicle service contract number v001328439 issuing dealer curry Honda effective date 06-04-2002 expiration date 08-13-2008 or either expiration mileage 100,000. 00 actual mileage of my vehicle is 46,000. 00. My vehicle had a mechanical breakdown last November 23 2005 and I took it to the dealer to fix it. They call me to inform that they denied to cover of this damage saying abuse and negligence. I have taken twice to check my vehicle to the Honda dealer even though they charged me $500. 00 each time for services they did not fix properly because my vehicle did not pass the annual inspection and had the same problem of lose of power, I alert them in advance of this problem. I did all proper maintenance ,I changed oil every 3,000. 00 miles most of time my vehicle stay parked at home I used commute back and forward to work ( 10 miles daily 5 days a week) and it had few miles. Please help me and investigate if there are others similar complaints or defectives of these type of vehicle. I think this is not fair dinayig coverage. While driving at a speed of 20-25 mph, the car will cut off and lose all power. Unable to start the vehicle after that, returrned to dealer for service and car was returned to owner due to the fact that the problem could not be duplicated. Over the past few months this has happened around 5-10 times, however each time was able to start the vehicle. Service department has no answer or solution to the ongoing problem. Nlm.

Was advised by a Honda technician that it was an emissions problem but the code that came up doesn't show what is wrong. They replaced the gas cap but that didn't resolve the problem. Dt.

Engine stops while in motion,making right and left turns, between 10 and 15 mph and starts right back up after car has come to a stop.

Consumer states that intermittenly when driving and decelerating to a complete stop, the vehicle will slow down, but once stops will "lurch" forward almost causing collisions with other cars. The dealer has not been able to determine the cause. Ts.

While driving down the road vehicle cuts completely off. Has no power.

Vehicle will shut off while traveling at speeds over 50 mph.

When slowing down or stopping, engine chokes, car lunges and then dies. Seen at dealership 5 times for same problem. Honda has tried to say it is everything from bad gas to bad spark plugs. Have asked for money back or replacement of vehicle. Purchased in may. Vehicle has been in shop more often than not. Dealership has been able to get vehicle to replicate problem. However, no one at Honda seems to know what to do or how to provide customer service.

When vehicle is coming to a stop or slowing down at an intersection engine cuts completely off. Dealer has seen vehicle 3 times in the last month, and is not able to solve problem.
