Brake Foundation Components Problems of Hyundai Accent

Vehicle has been in to dealer several times for service, trans. Slips, free wheels, bucks, brakes twice have not worked until minutes after pedal pressed to floor, then pop when accelerating, dealer unable to reproduce?? so they won't fix/investigate problems, they have, however, replaced parts for manual windows that were falling down. Nlm.

Consumer was approaching an intersection and applied the brakes but the vehicle continued to move forward, as a result the vehicle collided with another vehicle, during this accident the air bags failed to deploy, the seat belt also failed to properly restrain the driver and as a result the drive was thrown into the windshield shattering it, the driver sustained injuries to the head.

When stopped, if you need to hold the brake pedal down, such as on a hill, pedal sinks slowly to the floor. It is worse when the car is warmed up.

Rear brakes were squealing, and consumer took vehicle in to put rear dust cover over brakes, also rear brakes started having same problem, brake had cut into drum of wheel, contacted dealer, and dealer stated that brake shoes were defective because a piece had broken off, dealer will fix rear brakes under warranty. Consumer was back to dealer, dealer put back the drums, put on new shoes, front rotors resurfaced and new front pads put on, but the brakes started squeeling again on 13-Dec-2001.

Ngine check light came on. When consumer stopped vehicle, and took foot off gas, rpms and speed odometer revved up. While stopping at stop sign, put foot on brakes, and vehicle jerked forward. Contact dealer, and dealer stated nothing was wrong with vehicle. Ak.

The $ amt is currently unknown, I dont have my car with me milage is over 16000, I tried to conntact Hyundai via web couldn't will try tommarow. I just crested a short hill on a left hand turn. I saw a Mini-van at the bottom stopped. Mabey 3-4 car distances ahead I stared to brake I instancely noted I was not slow enough, I incresed brake press and filaly floored the bake, I went over a car and a half with the brake floored, when I was right on top of the Mini-van I relized the brakes were not working and that I was going to crash, I rearended the Mini-van, I left no skids and made no screech . When I floored the brake pedal I was expecting a quick but not rearending stop. Insted it was more like I put it in neutral and glided in. I have never had brake problems, and the brakes worked afterward though the care was only moved short slow distances.

While driving at 40 mph there was a loud cracking noise coming from the left side of the vehicle, and the vehicle vibrated when driving at any speed. Also, when applying the brakes the vehicle will pull to the right.

The brakes failed.

While driving the brakes failed to work properly. The consumer can hear a loud clicking when making a left or right turn. Upon applying the brakes the engine locked and spun out of control. Also, the brake pedal is very hard to push down. The tires get very hot. Took to dealer several times and problem is still not resolved. . Nlm.

Brakes grind, there is brake dust all over hub cap, and sometimes when braking brake pedal has to be pressed almost to the floor to stop. In addition to periodic squeaking noises, consumer was informed this was normal.
