8 Brake Sensor problem of the 2012 Hyundai Elantra

Failure Date: 02/16/2017

Occasionally while traveling on the highway - any speed from 50-70 mph - the electronic stability control light will flash, even though there are no adverse conditions. While the light is flashing, I can feel that my left rear brake is applied, causing me to have to correct the course of the car. I do not feel safe in this car anymore. This did not start happening until after I received the recall service associated with campaign 137 for the the yaw sensor (which describes the exact scenario I am experiencing now). This has been going on for about 6 months so far (date noted below is most recent instance). In that time period I have had to have my rear rotors replaced, and the brake pads replaced twice. The second time I replaced the brake pads, they had heated up so much from dragging that they had fused onto the rotor, and the caliper was broken.

Failure Date: 10/12/2016

1. Airbag light has been turning on. No apparent reason but I was told that if in an accident will not deployed. Since 10/12/2016 2. Suspension is not the greatest, car will swirled sometimes if exceeding 40mph hello I live in puerto rico there is no such thing as 40mph in our roads. . . 3. Tire sensors are constantly braking. 4. Front headlights seems get humidity when it rains or get too cold. 5. Brakes sometimes do not work as they should, I stop and it seems to keep going I would have to brake again to make it stop and these is not going more than 40 mph.

13 Brake Sensor problem of the 2003 Hyundai Elantra

The vehicle was taken to the dealer four times because it was not stopping when braking. On 9/9/2003, while trying to stop at a stop sign, the brakes failed. The vehicle hit a truck and the front air bags did not deploy. Driver sustained injuries to the pelvic area and bruises on the upper legs. Front passenger's head broke the windshield, and passenger suffered seizures. Child in the rear, age 11, sustained arm bruises.
