The contact owns a 2006 Hyundai Santa Fe. The contact stated that the vehicle was exhibiting a winding sound when turning in any direction. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where both the power steering pump and the rack and pinion were replaced. The contact had to take the vehicle back three times after the repair due to the recurrence of the failure. The dealer replaced the power steering oil pump and the power steering pump was replaced a second time. In addition, the reservoir for the power steering was replaced and the steering gear was replaced. The contact stated that two years later, the failure recurred.
