Air Bag Not Deploy Problems of Hyundai Tiburon - part 2

Consumer's vehicle rear ended another vehicle going 5 mph. Both front air bags did not deploy.

Consumer stated that while driving at 45 mph an accident occurred while trying to avoid a collision with a stalled vehicle in the highway. While avoiding the stalled vehicle consumer rolled into a ditch and rolled over several times. Consumer's seatbelt came undone, and the air bag did not deploy. After the accident something under the hood started smoking, and within ten minutes the entire car was consumed by the fire.

I was going 45 mph trying to get onto the highway. Vehicle in front of me slammed on his brakes. . I rear-ended him. Frontal impact for me. During the impact, my head hit the steering wheel. My front end looks like an accordion. Air bag did not deploy. Hyundai will be contacted. Minor injuries. Report to police will be filed.

The vehicles hood popped up while driving which caused an accident. The driver and passenger air bags did not deploy.

Consumer was traveling about 30mph and coming off ramp when vehicle in front jammed on brakes and consumer's vehicle skidded into back of other vehicle. Upon impact, air bags failed to deploy. Dealership was aware of problem.

While driving between 35 and 40 mph in center line had to merge to side line, reducing to about 5 mph when was rear ended by another vehicle. Air bags did not deploy, and the driver suffered back and neck injuries. Please provide more information.

Driving at a speed of 65 mph when another car cut me off I had to brake and hit the guardrail head on, and the airbagsdid not deploy. When I called Hyundai to complain they told me that due to the cost of airbags they put it in a certain place where you have to hit it for the airbag to deploy. The odd fact was that I had a head on collision if I had not had my seatbelt on I would have gone through the windshield.

While driving approximately 30 mph vehicle hit another vehicle head-on in a collision, and passenger's/driver's airbags did not deploy. Consumer sustained minor injuries.

When vehicle was involved in a rear end crash the air bags did not deploy. Driver was going 55 mph. The looks like it was totalled.
