The contact owns a 2007 Hyundai Veracruz. The contact stated that while driving at 65 mph, the battery warning light illuminated. The following day, the vehicle failed to start immediately. The vehicle was jump started but stalled soon after. Upon investigation, the contact discovered NHTSA campaign number: 14v415000 (engine and engine cooling) which she linked to the failure. The contact also reached out to an independent mechanic who gave her an estimate for the repair. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 155,000.

Thank god we stalled before getting all the way into the intersection because cars were coming from both ways. I put the vehicle in n and we luckily rolled back out of the way. The contact was able to restart the vehicle as it resumed normal function. The vehicle was taken to an authorized where the failure could not be duplicated. The failure recurred twice but the vehicle was not repaired. The VIN was not available. The failure mileage was 90,000 and the current mileage was 90,100.
