Infiniti G35 owners have reported 1 problem related to brake antilock control unit/module (under the service brakes category). The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The "slip" light flashed when coasting at about 7-10 mph. The "slip" light is a function of the abs system. This occurred as soon as I drove it off of the dealers lot, and it was my first time driving. This vehicle (internet order, so I didn't have a chance to drive this exact vehicle before I purchased the car). As the "slip" light flashes, I hear the grinding noise of what appears to be the abs system engaging. I took it into the dealership and for 4 days, they could not figure out the problem. After the 4th day, they replaced the speed sensor in the right rear wheel. On the way home after picking up my car after 6 days in the shop, the "slip" light continued to flash at 7-10 mph. I called the service department again and they said that they'll try replacing the abs control unit. After waiting over a week, the dealer told me that the part was in. When I dropped off the, they told me that they had ordered the wrong part. Now, it's scheduled to be in the shop for 3 days. The dealer tells me that they are not sure that this will cure the problem. I cannot rely on the brake system of this car nor do I trust the service department of the Infiniti dealership.
