This is a safety issue only because although I put very mileage on my car, I travel alone at night/very early morning. What happens if I am in a deserted area and my brakes fail? I understand that this can happen every 8. 000 miles and I find that very unreasonable. Infinity should replace these light brakes for a heavier system.
Took my Infiniti G35 to dealer for oil change at 15,000 miles and was told my brakes needed replacing with only 10% remaining. Dealer acknowledged premature brake failure is a chronic problem for G35's. My wife and I are not hard drivers and typically drive 40,000 miles between brake jobs. I would not have purchased this vehicle if I had known I would have to replace the brakes every year. Infiniti should share the cost with G35 owners for an obvious design flaw.
