1 Engine Stall problem of the 2007 Infiniti G35

Failure Date: 07/12/2018

Visited infinity dealership in regards to sporadic engine stalling while in 1st gear only to later find that a recall has been issued on same year and model of my vehicle. Vehicle stalled on highway numerous times while in 1st gear. No engine light came on eluding to the fact that their is an issue. Issues has been happening for months and dealership is aware. Suspiciously, my vehicle was not named but a very basic search online does uncover that numerous consumers have been experiencing the same issue. This is putting consumers in a dangerous situation which could result in an accident. Same scenario with my passenger seat working sporadically.

2 Engine Stall problem of the 2004 Infiniti G35

Failure Date: 06/28/2016

As previously mentioned and depicted copious times on multiple sites, my 2004 G35 (built in 2003 and purchased 11/03 w/ only 43,544 miles) stalls w/o warning. Engine and vdc lights show only after engine stalls. If idle rpms are increased to 1,000, to prevent stalling, the engine idle lopes noticeably. This safety issue has occurred both while stopped (stop lights/signs) and while driving 4 out of the last 4 times driven. Research indicates the fix consists of camshaft position sensor and crankshaft angle sensors. It is patently obvious that regardless of mileage (I. E. 100k+ or in my case 43k miles) the engine will stall, jeopardizing the safety of the driver and passenger(s) resulting from being hit by other vehicles, thereby endangering the occupants of any/all vehicles. This issue should not be the causal factor for individuals being hurt/maimed/killed due to an obvious engineering/manufacturing error by Nissan/Infiniti, nor should an owner be held responsible for a blatantly obvious manufacturer's defect's, by being required to pay for a system beyond their control and the sole responsibility of the actual manufacturer. Please research the warranty and repair orders, as well as the myriad of the exact same complaints by consumers, reflected on on-line sites and forums. This should not be required to rise to the level of the air bags, exploding gas tanks, etc. . . Resulting in significant injury or death. Respectfully.

12 Engine Stall problem of the 2008 Infiniti G35

Failure Date: 03/16/2012

I recently purchased this car from a Nissan dealership and it happened on the first and second day owning it. The first day happened when I pulled into the gas station taxing to the gas pump and all the sudden, the steering wheel started to get harden. I looked at the rpm gauge and it was down to zero while I was in "d" mode. So shifted to park and restart the engine, then it works again. The second incident happened when I was at a stop sign turning right. Immediately after releasing the brake pedal, I turned the steering wheel and the engine stalled; therefore, the steering wheel was harden. Then I shift back to park and restart again. I'm not sure if this is common to any G35x but this is a safety issue. I do not want to image myself going into a round-about and the car stalls while other car coming toward me. Please look into this.

14 Engine Stall problem of the 2004 Infiniti G35

Failure Date: 05/05/2010

Nissan just started a recall for stalled engine. My car (2004 infinti G35) seems to do the exact same thing but it is not part of the recall and I took it to the dealer but they said there was no problem with the car. Now, the engine stalls once in a while and you have turn the car off and restart for it to work. I called Infiniti and they said can not do anything right now because it is not part of the specific recall. The car poses safety issue if it is to stall in the middle of highway, it will threaten safety of others including myself.

On two separate occasions the engine stalled while driving 65 mph or more. The vehicle was taken to the dealer. On the first visit the dealer was not able to duplicate the problem. The second visit the dealer replaced the complete throttle body chamber. The problem appears to be correct at this time.
