The contact owns a 2007 Jeep Cherokee. While driving approximately 35 mph, the vehicle was involved in a head on crash and the air bags did not deploy. A police report was filed. Tl- the contact owns a 1996 Jeep Cherokee. The contact stated that while sitting idle at a complete stop, a truck crashed into the rear of the contact¿s vehicle, pushing the vehicle into a foregoing vehicle. The contact¿s air bags failed to deploy. The contact sustained injuries to the neck and back. A police report was filed. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The contact was also concerned that the fuel tank location could be a greater danger if there was another rear end crash. The approximate failure mileage was 100,000 and the approximate current mileage was 183,000. Kmj.

I was the only person in my vehicle at the time of the accident. I was pulling a trailer & going up a bridge at approximately 50 mph when I lost control & hit the guardrail. My entire driver side and front end on the driver side was smashed. It bent my frame as well, however, the air bags never deployed. I called Chrysler customer service # just to let them know that it happened, just so they would have a record of it. I have never been treated so rudely by a "customer service" rep in all of my life, he actually hung up on me when I asked for his name. I called back to report him and was disconnected again. I am not suing. Fortunately, I was not hurt. But I was surprised that you could have an impact that hard & severe and the air bags not deploy. I will be very surprised if my Jeep is not totalled.

Vehicle was air born and fell on other side, and rolled over on all four sides, hitting another concrete culvert drainage. Upon impact, both air bags did not deploy. Accident on 11-08-2000 wet surface, upon apply abs brakes the vechile sled into intersection striking a gravel truck suffering approx. $ 9,000 in damage Jeep was struck on the left front and took the entire front clip off, but the airbags did not deploy, at what speed are the bags suppose to deploy, and is this a factory defect?.
