I know there is a recall for the air bags and my air bag light came on and said service airbag’s system. I read y’all’s article that says keep a watch on my dash board and this is a safety concern and very dangerous if I wreck or someone wrecks into me and my airbags don’t go off.
Start driving the vehicle multiple times during the operation you get a service airbag message with a code / dtc of b0020-13 which fca put out a TSB for but when you do take the car in the code is not stored in memory, so they refused to repair it.

My vehicle was in 2 major wrecks. One in Dec 2021, where I t boned someone who turned in front of me at a green light. $19k in damages. Should have totaled it. But how in the hell the air bags didn’t go off is amazing. Bc my chest hit the steering wheel so hard I had to be treated for it. Not only that but the wreck destroyed my lower vertebrae. After it took the shop 6 months to fix and taken back for problems multiple times. I had it 2 weeks, and the brakes failed. Due to something the shop did I’m sure but I rear ended a lady with no brakes at 45-50 mph. Slamming directly into her even though I saw her. I broke my toe I hit the brakes so hard. But again I hit her directly where all the sensors are and this wreck was worse than the first the vehicle totaled and no air bags went off…. I shattered my left knee from hitting the dash. Broke my big toe on my right foot etc. Why didn’t my air bags go off…… I bought my vehicle certified pre owned in 2019. There’s no way in either wreck I missed that air bag sensor. I work in the collision industry. I know they have to be hit directly on to make them go off but there is no reason mine shouldn’t have other than a defect. I was alone in the first wreck, the second I was further injured and had to stop treatment I was still undergoing from the wreck before bc of the lapsing. My daughter was also injured in the second wreck. Second wreck happened in July 2022.

Jeep Cherokee 2018 limited ac turns off throughout the drive. It makes the SUV vibrate to the point I can’t see out the review mirror. Had ac serviced and checked. Issue persisted shortly after.
Received a message on car display to "service airbag system. " dealer (tasca of white plains, NY) determined that one of the crash sensors had failed. Dealer said that first replacement sensor was defective, and that they would need to install a second one. If what the dealer said is true about the replacement sensor, then that's two defective crash sensors.
Hard impact to front of car during an accident, car was totaled by insurance, air bag did not deploy on drivers side. No issues with the car or warning lights on before the accident. No indication the air bag was not working properly.
The contact owned a 2014 Jeep Cherokee. The contact stated while 10 mph the front passenger air bag deploy without any warning causing the front passenger dent out. No one was injured. The contact was able to drive the vehicle to a collision center. The vehicle was deemed a totally lost by the insurance company. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 61,000. VIN was not available.
Was driving down hwy and vehicle pulled out directly in front of me. Nothing I could do but hit the brakes. Severe front end damage done to my 2021 Jeep Cherokee. Airbags did not deploy. There were injuries. No one can figure out why the airbags didn't deploy on either the passenger side nor the driver side. Thankfully no one was killed. I believe there to be a defect in the airbags on this vehicle of not deploying. The collision was fast enough and enough front end damage to deploy. The airbags in the other vehicle that was involved deployed just fine. Ours however didn't. Asking Jeep to look at their 2021 Cherokee models.

Driving the vehicle for a few mins and the seatbelt light and airbag lights will come on and message show service airbags soon. Will stay in for about 2 mins to 15mins. Does not occur everyday but would say once every two weeks.
Constant overheating , I have replace the cooling system 3 times.
I got into a car crash that completely crushed my vehicle and the airbags didn’t deploy at all. Serious injuries were sustained.

Air bag service light came on. Took it to a reputable repair business. Diagnosed with codes b0020-13 left side seat deployment squib 1. Found tech service bulletin #10-002-18 for replacing air bag seat harness and seat bolts for this code. Chrysler recommends both harnesses are replaced (left and right). Chrysler is charging $2,677. 16 for the parts. They say it is a 'common' problem and in fact the parts are on back order until at least January 19th. This is a safety issue as the airbag will not deploy. The vehicle is less than 10 years old, which meets two out of three criteria for it to be considered a recall issue. I cannot afford this type of repair which is a problem I did nothing to create.
The contact owns a 2016 Jeep Cherokee. The contact stated that while his fiancé was driving approximately 35 mph, the vehicle crashed head-on into a tree. During the crash, the front-end was severely damaged but no air bags deployed. During the crash, the driver sustained head and neck injuries rendering her unconscious. The manufacturer and local dealer were not yet notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 70,000.
My air bag light keeps coming on staying the air bag sensor is off. Thst could cause a major problem if I were to be involved in an accident. My transmission is jarring bad feeling like I've been hit. This scares me every time it jars. This could cause problems in any situation involving me mashing the gas because there is a delay in aerating. Have spoken to my dealership about these problems.
The contact owns a 2017 Jeep Cherokee sport. The contact stated that on multiple occasions while driving at an undisclosed speed, the air bag warning light intermittently illuminated. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The dealer nor the manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 100,000.
I was driving under the speed limit at night after work and a bull elk piped out running at fun speed. I barely had a chance to put my foot on the break. I had to a head on collision. My 2019 Jeep trailhawk front airbag deployed. My driver side knee air bag blew my acl. I no longer have one in my right knee. I have to get a new acl from a donor “cadaver” from my understanding the brand of knee airbag are recall. Takata brand. They explode when deployed. It caused multiple problems in my leg. I can’t walk.
The knee air bag on the drivers side is partially hanging out of its compartment , despite never being in a wreck. The engine stalls out during take off ! the anti theft system keeps locking me out.
During an accident, the air bags failed to deploy when hit by a Dodge ram 2500. The vehicle was totalled by the insurance company, and the insurance company took ownership of the vehicle.
Indicator lights are shown on dash include gas cap, seat belt and engine. All gear lights display red when driving and states to service shifter. Dash displays service engine soon. Service air bag system. Seat belt will constantly ding even though it is buckled and will not stop dinging. Replaced gas cap, but indicator light continues to display on dash. Strongly believe there are electrical issues causing theses defects. Took to local dealership and they performed an update, but the indicator lights started to display again the following day, along with the constant dinging from the vehicle not being able to sensor the seat belt being buckled. This has been happening for over a year now and no one seems to be acknowledging there is an extreme safety concern with this vehicle. Strongly believe it is due to the fact of being at fault and not wanting to correct the defects without compensation. Plus there is an abnormal sound when accelerating since these issues began and are continuous. If you’re an attorney reading this, please find me through my VIN #. I’m tired of dealing with these issues and willing to take legal action to resolve these issues. Will never buy a Jeep again. Thanks.
Air bag light came on at 36,500 miles went off and on several times then stayed on reported to Chrysler but out of warranty 66,000 miles 4wheel drive light come on gear shift light come on and off several times took to dealer service department they said ptu unit needs replacement 3,000 dollars called Chrysler no help out of warranty.
While driving, forward collision alarm came out, slowly more problem arose, power steering became unavailable, airbags red warning came up, engine caution light came up, transmission wouldn't shift to proper gear, esp also failed.
The contact owns a 2019 Jeep Cherokee. The contact stated that while driving at approximately 55 - 60 mph, the vehicle crashed into a deer. The air bags did not deploy upon impact. The contact sustained chest and back pain, but her daughter did not sustain any injuries. No medical attention was received. A police report was filed. The vehicle was towed to a body shop and was not yet deemed totaled by the insurance company. The dealer was made aware of the failure and informed the contact that there was no recall associated with the VIN. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 81,555.
Vehicle is a 2019 Jeep Cherokee trailhawk with approx. 23k miles as of 4/28. A nh state inspection failed on 4/28/22 at 3 pm due to front rotors being "very delaminated and pitted" and front brake pads wearing unevenly as a result of the rotor delamination. In the months prior to inspection, stop time/distance was noticeably increased, and light pulsing could be felt when coming to a stop. An appointment to replace the rotors and brakes was made for 4/29/22 at 10 am. Approximately 1 hour after the inspection, the vehicles in front of me came to an abrupt stop due to an intersection ahead. I was not able to stop in time and hit the vehicle in front of me, which was at a stop. That vehicle then lurched forward and hit the vehicle in front of it. After impact, the front upper and lower airbags deployed very slowly, but did not fully inflate. The radiator cracked as a result of the collision, as coolant began leaking from the vehicle and the vehicle began to smoke prior to me turning it off. There was extensive damage to the lower front bumper and hood, as well as mild damage to the quarter panels. Further damage is unknown at this time, as the vehicle was towed and is being assessed for repairs. No other persons involved in the crash were injured. I have sustained very mild bruising of my left knee from the steering column, soreness in the back of my neck and upper back, soreness in my right hip, and a very mild chemical burn in my throat (presumably from the airbag powder).
Service air bag light came on three different times when turning left. The third time it came on the vehicle died in the middle of an intersection and dashboard lights lit up. Took vehicle to dealer, they said there were codes and a star case s1808000180, they tore apart center console. Did not find a problem, they test drove car and said no more codes. I picked up vehicle and after driving approx. 30 miles home, service air bag light came on again while stopped at light and car died. Car was towed to second dealer, codes popped up u0103, u11de, u0002, u1465, c10cd. Dealer did not know how to fix. Called Jeep customer cares. Car has been out of service since may 13, 2022. Going to a third dealer on June 9, 2022.
The contact owns a 2015 Jeep Cherokee latitude 4x4. The contact stated when the ignition is turned on, the warning light service air bags system was illuminated on the instrument panel. The vehicle was taken to a local independent mechanic. The mechanic did not diagnose the failure. The manufacturer was notified; however, advised the contact the recall failure does not apply to his vehicle. The approximate failure mileage was 75,000.
Went through a creek water came over my hood and then my stop/start sensor and seat belt dinger won't shut off.
