Air Bag Light On Problems of Jeep Compass

Hello I went to dealer to fix safty recall s61 in 04/16/19 next week show me light airbag problem so they told me to check this problem they charge fee for check in so I refuse to check it cost to much for me so I driving to home and I driving all year with this air bag light and today 4/16/2020 I went dealer where was recall done before and ask again if they fix this light but they told me they charge for inspection that light I think that recall make me more problem then do good for my car I think that recall cause that problem. What I can do with this car??.

The Jeep Compass 2008 truck was on the highway and it turn on the airbag light and it started to turn it of and back on until it just left a solid airbag light. My vehicle hasn't in no accidents or any off rode use.

The airbag senor light kept popping on and off for approximately a week or two. The dealership reported the front passenger impact sensor and occupant restraint control module needed replaced. The vehicle had not been involved in a crash as of late nor any damage and has been in perfect working order until this incident of the airbag light.

Takata recall : my 2014 Jeep Compass airbase dash light has illuminated, and will randomly turn on and off while driving. I looked into the recall and did not see any complaints from my vehicle model. When the vehicle is on and stationary the indicator will illuminate. While the vehicle is in motion at any speed the indicator light will randomly pop up.

The airbag light has maintained itself on approximately three months, and every 10-15 minutes it sends me an alarm, warning me that something is wrong, and that the airbag is not functioning accordingly. This happens every time the vehicle is being in use and in March.

For over two years my air bag light has been on. I tried to located the a possinle fuse but found the fuse box was mislabled on the diagram. Check you tube and diagram in manual did not match. So I lived with the issue because for inspection it did not affect emmissions. Now thar I am passing the vehical to my daughter I found there was a recall on the airbag and seatbelt along with a steering nut to check. I want the vwhicle to be safe for her. I already put a lot of money into the Jeep from a new transmission, wiring concerns located under drivers front tire, timing belt and general maintainance.

The airbag light goes on intermittently while driving because of the driver seat belt sensor issues per the mechanic. Also, the passenger seat recline lever broke right off, so we can no longer recline. More importantly, the car sometimes won't even start. Dashboard panel just remains black, and the engine does not even turn over. Just silent. After waiting a few moments, it starts perfectly. Mechanics don't know.

I have a 2007 Jeep Compass with 104000 miles on it. The air bag light came on while driving, it was intermittent at first when the steering wheel was turned by the end of the same day the light remained on. The next day I took it in to the dealer, they diagnosed a bad clock spring. The technician noted it looked very similar to the Jeep wrangler clock springs that are currently under recall.
