1 Transmission Fluid Leaking problem

Failure Date: 12/02/2009

The contact owns a 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee laredo. The contact stated as he started the vehicle, he noticed fluids leaking from the transmission. The dealer replaced the plugged adapter guide bushing to correct the failure. At 29,500 miles, the contact was driving 20 mph and attempting a right turn when the transmission slipped and the vehicle would not accelerate over 10 mph. The vehicle was towed to the dealer where the console shift was repaired. At 34,500 miles, the failure recurred and the vehicle would not accelerate over 30 mph. All four transmission gear selector warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was drivable yet the check engine warning light remained illuminated. The dealer advised that the software would need an update to correct the failure. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 27,000 and the current mileage was 34,600. 2 Transmission Fluid Leaking problem

Car simply stalls - in intersections, on roadway for no reason. Drive train, fluid leaks car is unsafe.
