1 Transmission Noise problem

Failure Date: 03/11/2016

After putting the vehicle in what I thought was park in my circular drive, I hit the power button and exited the vehicle. It must have been in neutral because when I turned around to go back to the car to figure out what was going on with the noise, I saw my 10 year old pull the transmission into drive from the back seat. The car started moving forward at an angle (the wheels were turned due to circle drive) and I had to run to get it. After I got in the car and before I could get my foot on the break, my left leg that was still outside the door was smashed when the car swiped a tree and the right side of the car hit a rock. I was told the damage was over $1300 to repair. I did not seek medical treatment for my leg.
