The contact stated that the instrument cluster switched applications independently. In addition, the instrument cluster occasionally displayed a blurred screen due to the glue. The contact stated that the failure began after the glue around the instrument cluster started to bubble up. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed with a failed instrument cluster. The contact was informed that the instrument cluster needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure but provided no assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 89,000.
