I bought my wife a 2000 Jeep grand cherokee, and it has shut off while she was driving, putting her in a very dangerous situation, with no "check engine" light. . . Nothing, low coolant light came on when there is coolant already in the car, check gauges light keep coming on, heater doesn't heat well, the passenger side power door lock does not work, I've replaced the thermostat and the water pump once. And I've had an issue with the vehicle overheating and the fan not coming on and had it replaced. I do believe there is something wrong with the Jeep cherokee especially the 2000 model and think it should be recalled. I looked on the internet for blogs to see if anyone else was having the same problems and found there were well over 100 people on one website with the same exact problems. I think this is a dangerous situation for those that own this vehicle and I am asking you to please recall this vehicle before it causes serious accidents or even death. Please don't ignore this complaint, and I hope to hear from you soon concerning this matter. You should not even have "number of deaths" listed, but if you be honest and take care of the problems, there would not be any deaths.

My radiator fan broke off the motor on Sunday September 9, 2007 and I had it towed to tire kingdom since the dealership was closed. So I called greenway Chrysler Jeepdodge in orlando, FL on September 10, 2007 to compare parts prices for the shrowd assembly and radiator fan. The dealership process were much lower so I was going to have my car towed there to fix but tire kingdom matched their price. The dealership asked for my make, model, year and VIN # to accurately find the prices. The following day I received the recall notice for the exact parts I had fixed and paid 839. 00 for. I was extremely upset that I had specifically called the dealership for prices for those exact parts and was not told that it was a recalled part. I have since submitted my bill for reimbursement but I am extremely disappointed in the customer service the Jeep dealership gave me.
1. Electric radiator fan fractured 2. Damaged radiator and engine 3. Spent more than a thousand dollars on repair on all three parts.
