Tl the contact owns a 2009 Jeep Patriot 4x4. While driving various speeds and attempting to accelerate, the vehicle shut off without warning. The vehicle was able to be restarted. The contact called livonia Chrysler Jeep at 734-525-5000 (located at 30777 Plymouth rd, livonia, mi 48150) and was informed to call the manufacturer. The failure recurred several times. The manufacturer was made aware of the failures and stated that there was no recall. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 97,000.
