One problem related to radiator has been reported for the 2017 Jeep Renegade. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Around 40000 miles, the car began making a rattling noise under the hood and a burning smell was noticed. Shortly thereafter, the check engine light came on. We took it to our mechanic and the code indicated that the radiator fan had failed, making the car unsafe to drive. I find it highly indicative of a faulty and dangerous part for a radiator fan to fail so quickly. The large number of complaints for the same issue confirmed this, the part was defective and is replaced by Jeep with a better one, but at the cost of the owner. I find this highly negligent, Jeep should be replacing this part for free ad part of a recall, as they clearly know it was an inferior part.
