Two problems related to engine oil leaking have been reported for the 2007 Jeep Wrangler. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Tl-the contact owns a 2007 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated that the vehicle stalled without warning while he drove at 65mph. The vehicle was towed to a local mechanic whom performed diagnostic that located a failure code at the engine. The engine was out of oil and had metal fragments causing the vehicle to stall no leaks were found to support why the engine was out of oil. The vehicle was repaired. The engine was replaced. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 108,000. Li.
Repetitive oil leak, I am told by the dealership that the gaskets are bad, they have been replaced 4 times. Oil leaks about 1 qtr per week and has to be added in order for engine not to malfunction.
