While waiting at stop light another vehicle rearended vehicle. Upon impact, front seatbacks collapsed backwards into the rear. Then, vehicle was pushed into a ditch , and air bags failed to deploy. Passenger suffered broken back and leg. Driver suffered severe back sprain. Vehicle was totaled.

When attempting to make an emergency stop in traffic that came to a sudden holt, anti-lock brakes did not respond. Pedal was applied, and vehicle just began sliding, hitting another vehicle in rear. Air bags did not deploy, and seat belts did not restrain. Kia has been contacted.

The airbag did not deploy, the front seat broke, the rear wheel broke off causing the accident. The trunk ended up in the back seat.

The driver in front of my vehicle stopped to rubberneck at an accident. My daughter rear-ended the car at 50-55 mph and her 98 kia Sephia air bag did not deploy. She has chiropractic injuries.

While driving down a highway consumer tried to slowdown and brakes did not work ,and steering wheel locked up. Had to hit a guardrail to stop, airbags didnt deploy.

While driving at approximately 40 mph driver was hit on right front passenger's side ,8 inches away off center. Upon impact, , dual airbags did not deploy. Driver sustained back and neck injuries, and passenger suffered skull lacerations and concussion. Vehicle was totaled. No indictation of dual airbags being defective or inoperative.

While driving in the snow made a turn that left vehicle looking to oncoming traffic, and had head-on collision with another vehicle. Upon impact, air bags did not deploy, causing injuries to consumer and child in vehicle.

On 12-10-98, car was hit and consumer ran with her baby inside. The air bag did not deploy, but one week later the air bags deployed.

When applying brakes in normal conditions, the pedal went to the floor and brakes failed to stop vehicle, causing an accident in which the driver's and passneger's side airbags did not deploy.

Air bags did not deploy during crash which the entire windshield was smashed into the fron seat and the vehicle was a total loss. Driver injuries included two herniated discs in his neck and one in his back.
