Power Steering Light On Problems of Kia Motor Soul

Had car 1 week - 204 miles. Power steering warning light came on while I was driving 55. Then the tire pressure light. Then all warning lights. Headlights and interior lighting off and on then finally just off. Pulled into parking lot where all systems stopped working. Was not enough power to close sun roof. No power door locks - had to operate manually. Car towed to dealer. Thankfully I am a strong person and was able to get off the highway and into a parking lot without incident. I am not sure how that happened since I did not even have working hazard lights.

At 8960 miles steering indicator dash light came on. Dealership determined it was a bad steering wheel assembly. Due to the corona virus part took 2 1/2 weeks to get to the dealership.

Recently while driving my steering was feeling slightly hung or not steering a little when I turned the wheel. Now the car seems like it has some play in the steering wheel and makes a clunking when I turn the steering wheel from one side to the other. I figure it is something with an electronic power steering under the steering wheel after looking it up on the internet. I am not quite sure if it is safe to drive. I was concerned when turning curves at 65 mph and it was feeling hung up & not quite right. This is an ongoing problem at this point.

Starting the engine the idle speeds up fast, a few seconds later it slows to normal. When driving today, there was no acceleration when attempting to. Vehicle was difficult for fuel to allow acceleration. I used my car all day today. This evening the vehicle won't start with the steering warning light turning on. Almost like the battery was dead. The vehicle finally started with acceleration high, the the engine light turned on and stayed on. I decided not to use the vehicle and will contact the dealership. Purchased the vehicle from a dealership in November 2018. These problems are new and have never occurred before. These issues occurred while driving today for the acceleration problem and the remaining non-starting/lights while stationary in my parking lot this evening.

Knocking sound when turning steering wheel slightly to either left or right. I was told it is a bad coupler within the steering column that needs to be replaced and it will probably become a recall because the dealership has had many customers with the same issue.

I have right at 60,000 miles on my kia Soul. Was driving and pinion broke was totally unaware of recall until I took car to mechanic he advised me to get with kia because it was a safety recalled issue. First dealer I called told me it was recalled but they will only replace pin not the damage that the pin failure caused. Then told me that they were going to see if they could get it covered asked if they could call me back. Now I am currently working with another dealer can't use original dealer I moved and they were bought out. Guess we will see if I am able to get safety recall fixed and how much it cost me if it did any other damage that was caused by known manufacture default. Steering wheel popped air bag lights, steering wheel light, and could barely turn the car. I am also going to have to pay out of pocket it get car towed to kia dealership.
