There were no warning indicators illuminated. The vehicle was towed to knoxville Land Rover (10215 parkside dr, knoxville, TN 37922, (865) 777-3000), but was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 102,000.

2 Brake Fluid Leak problem of the 2006 Land Rover Range Rover

Failure Date: 12/01/2015

The contact owns a 2006 Land Rover Range Rover. The contact stated that the brake fluid was leaking from the vehicle causing the brakes to malfunction. While attempting to stop the vehicle, the driver had to depress the brake pedal violently and the braking distance was extended. The cause of the failure was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The recall notices for NHTSA campaign number: 15v039000 (service brakes) was received in February of 2015. After contacting the dealer on multiple occasions, the contact was informed that the parts needed to repair the vehicle were still not available and no estimated time for receiving the parts could be given.
