Brake Disc Rotor Problems of Lincoln Town Car

The consumer's vehicle has required multiple repairs to include ball joint replacement, turned rotors and idler arm replacement. The vehicle only has 70000 miles. The cruise would not shut off without a near skid amount of braking, this would also occur because the shifter would not come out of the park position.

When braking , the steering wheel would pull hard to the right. This made it hard for the driver to maintain control of vehicle. The brake rotors were warped. Also the lower ball joints were replaced, the engine light illuminated, the dealer found the evap canister solenoid valve leaking.

Back rotor on, right rear brake is not working properly. Has contacted dealer, and deaelr cannot do anything about problem.

Consumer had vehicle in the shop for several times for transmission/ air conditioner,and brakes. Rotor were turned, and when applying brakes pedal goes all the way to the floor . Consumer took vehicle to the dealership. Mechanic stated defective pads affected rotors, and rotors had to be replaced.

Warped rotors cause vehicle to pulsate and shudder whenever the brakes are applied under load, from higher speeds and down hills. Nlm.

Brake rotors experienced failure on two occasions due to vibration. On one occasions at 10,000 miles rotors were rotated, rotors failed again at 20000 miles.

Vehicle experienced problem with vibration when brakes were applied due to excessive warping of rotors. Dealer notified, and informed consumer that nothing else could be done at this time. Vibration still present after replacing the rotors.

Brakes pad make noise, the rotor cause the vibration. Yh.

Brake rotors failed, causing uneven braking with vibration.

Vehicle shakes and shimmies. Dealer replaced all four shock absorbers and control arms/power steering hoses and front brake rotors.
