I was driving on a main road and all of a sudden it seems as if the car lost power (2014 Mazda Cx-5 grand touring). I could not accelerate and a lot of the lights on the dash lit up (tpms, traction control, check engine light). Thankfully I was only a mile from home and was able to turn around and make it home, but I could have been in a serious accident with my infant in the car as I was about to get on the highway. I was only able to go about 10 mph, car kept revving, sputtering and vibrating. Once I got home I shut the car off for a few minutes. It starts no problem but same lights keep flashing and I feel the whole car vibrating, I don't feel safe if this car. This is a serious safety issue, car is only 3 years old with 50,000 miles on it, it is not normal for a car to completely lose power to the point where it almost comes to a complete stop. Mazda needs to issue a recall before someone gets into a serious accident because of this!.
