Engine Stall Problems of Mazda MAZDA3

Engine stalls; stops running. Loses total power while driving on a highway. This has happened at least 4 times, but most likely more. My Mazda computer should have recorded these incidents.

The engine suddenly stalled without any warning lights and the car went dead right after I exited the freeway. It was very scary. I pushed the start engine button and the car started and I continued my drive. I took the car to the dealer the next morning. I am currently waiting for a phone call from the dealer.

Tl-the contact owns a 2007 Mazda3. The contact stated that the vehicle failed to start up when the fuel tank was filled the dealer performed a diagnostic which located a failure code at the purge valve was replaced, however the vehicle experienced additional failures the front end vibrated and engine stalled while driving at 65mph the dealer performed a diagnostic which located the engine mount worn and struts leaked the evap system also failed however the valves were replaced. The engine mount and struts and evaporating system was not replaced. The rotor also wore prematurely and could not be resurface. The front bumper clips failed due to defective plastic the clips were replaced several times; however the failure was not corrected. The manufacturer advised the vehicle was not included in NHTSA campaign number 07v295000 (engine and engine cooling). The failure mileage ge was 50,000. Li.

In the month of March, I started to notice that in the first morning the car would hesitate to start. Contacted my local Mazda dealer in reno and notified them of the problem. Their response was that the problem had to do with nevada gas. On June 17th, while visiting las vegas, the cars engine stalled while in gear on the freeway, it took two attempts to restart the car. I returned to reno, and contacted an attorney and found that there were three major componets, that were all linked to the fuel system of the car. I contacted the Mazda dealership and still have no answers or solutions.
