4 Fuel Pump problem of the 2003 Mazda MAZDA6

Failure Date: 08/07/2008

2003 Mazda 6 recall 1403l, campaign # 03v531000, on my vehicle supposedly was repaired in baton rouge at diamond Mazda in 2004, but car is leaking in the same area that was a problem to begin with now. So the workmanship where they repair the seal is not very good. Four years later I buy the car and it is poor gas on the top of my gas tank out of the seal around the fuel pump which just happens to be right under where my child sits. So I've been in a time bomb just waiting to go off. No one can give me proof or paper work of where this recall has been taken care of. Now suppose that it did blow up and kill or injure myself and my 3 year old daughter. Wouldn't Mazda be at fault for not properly repairing the vehicle?.

5 Fuel Pump problem of the 2005 Mazda MAZDA6

Failure Date: 04/25/2007

Leased 2005 Mazda 6 in July 2005. September 2005: took in for service for check engine light. Dealership replaced a purge canister valve. While driving vehicle after repairs were made, I heard a high-pitched whirring noise from the engine and returned the vehicle to the dealership for service. Tech determined noise was coming from transmission. Trans. Was replaced two times; noise did not go away. Tech then determined it was the fuel pump. That was replaced but noise remained. Tech then suspected the fuel lines were vibrating, added a clip to prevent rubbing and noise disappeared. That took 28 days. Day after vehicle left dealership, fuel tank leaked fuel upon starting the vehicle. Dealership determined that a cap had not been tightened. Cap was tightened and car was returned but smelled awful. Dealership shampooed interior. June 2006: while driving, tachometer suddenly bounced and vehicle did not respond to accelerator being pressed. After turning car off and restarting it, car worked fine, but was taken to dealership. Tech replaced throttle body. April 2007: vehicle stalled while waiting at traffic light. Attempts to restart failed. Vehicle was towed to dealership. Tech determined that a fuel pump fuse had become disconnected. Fuse was replaced. One week later, fuel tank leaked upon starting the vehicle. Vehicle was towed to dealership again. Fuel pump assembly had to be replaced. I do not have vehicle back yet.
