The contact owns a 2007 Ford Grand Marquis. While driving various speeds, the steering wheel vibrated and shook when turning in either direction. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer (beach Ford, 851 jason blvd, myrtle beach, SC) where it was diagnosed that the steering column was faulty and needed to be replaced. The contact was informed that the seals and clips inside the steering column were corroded. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no assistance was offered. The VIN was not available. The failure mileage was 140,000.

Tl-the contact owns a 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis. The contact stated that he heard a squeaking noise from the front end. When the vehicle goes 65 mph it would violently shake with the steering wheel vibrating. When the contact attempted to make a turn, the vehicle's steering with not align with the turn and the contact will have to over compensate to complete the turn. The dealer carriage Ford inc 908 e lewis and clark pkwy, clarksville, in 47129 (812) 284-4444 stated that there was no recall so they could not help with the repairs. The manufacturer stated the same that there were no recalls. The failure was unknown . Tf.
