Takata recall we've been told about this recall and have not been told what to do about it. We need to know what to do because my wife has had people ride in her car. We don't want to be sued or have anyone die because of this airbag issue. Please tell us what to do here. Thank you.

Takata airbag recall - I'm being told that no passengers are safe in the front seat of my car until "further notice". This car has been in the recall process for over 2 years and now there is no end in sight. I cannot drive safely, I cannot sell the car as it carrys a liability. I call the Ford repair office every few months and am always told that the airbag replacement part is out of stock. No airbag incident yet.

There is a recall on my 2008 Milan every time I call the Ford dealer to fix the problem they say they don't have any airbags and call back.

Takata recall. Safety recall notice 17s01/NHTSA recall 17v-024. Received two letters from Ford motor company: March 2017 & may 2018 mentioning air bag danger for front passenger side. Letter stated parts should become available during the second or third quarters of 2018. I have not been notified of part availability. Meanwhile auto is being driven. Ford is offering to pay for rental vehicle until parts are available to repair this vehicle. I have not taken advantage of this offer as yet. I have not received notification of parts availability. In fourth quarter of 2018. Have received notice of a class action settlement coming from a bankruptcy of takata. Such notice recommends repairing airbag as soon as possible. When I call the local dealership, they instruct me to wait for letter stating part availability for my vehicle. I am confused and fear parts will not become available as promised.

I am understanding my airbags takata are defective and under recall I have never been notified. My airbags in front are protruding from my dashboard and I'm concerned if my car gets hit or anything to jar them it will deploy. Please advise.

I recently recieve a recall notice then receive a mother one from the department of motor vehicle department I went to the Ford market I brought it from in brooklyn NY n they said they don't do that.

Taka recall and throttle body when driving the car at normal speed than I come to a stop the car will not excel any faster than 2 or 3 miles per hour. Or driving on hwy it slows down to the speed of 2 or 3 miles. Cant use the speed control because it puts it into the 2 or 3 miles. If you stop and turn off car it resets it self and runs normal till it does it again.

Takata recall I have tried to have two different Ford dealers in my area make the necessary repairs or replacement of my airbags after receiving notice from the manufacturer (Ford) but have repeatedly received delays first on the claim that parts for my car were not yet available and, after notification from Ford that they were available, that priority was being given to those who had elected to rent replacement cars---which I did not do because they would only pay for one month and I was advised that I might have to rent for many more months. The dealers cannot tell me when the needed work on my car might be made. I now suspect that they never intend to make the necessary repairs. I, therefore, urge that NHTSA look into this situation and advice me what to do. Thank you.

Takata recall - dash damage to airbag area was not repaired and is getting worse by the day. Please note that the date shown below is the date that I emailed sutton Ford in matteson, illinois. . . Pictures of the dash. . . It was damaged before they replaced the airbag and still damaged when we picked it up. . . We were told that Ford would not cover the costs for the dash repair which is clearly caused by the airbag.

Takata recall: I received a letter from Ford saying they will pay for a rental vehicle and to contact my dealership. I contacted my dealership but to even be placed on a wait list for a rental I have to have my vehicle examined. After my vehicle is examined it will be days or weeks before I am given a free rental car. I think Ford should not be allowed to leave me driving an dangerous car that I feel unsafe in for weeks while they get me a rental car. I have already had to wait years for this remedy to be offered.

Takata recall I not received a new airbag as of today 11/7/2018. I have not received any information on when I will get a replacement airbag.
