I have had my compressor in Dec 2008 to fix the ac problem I had then but it never was. Then my mechanic suggested that was the condenser changed and now that hasn't solved the problem. I am beginning to wonder if this is not a problem the manufacturers need to look at. With this economy spending the money a I am not to mention that I am still making payments to the finance company is an added headache. Please help!.

This is a recurring problem with my 2002 Mercury Sable. Water leaks into the interior blower motor and shorts it out. I've replaced the motor and switch 3 times each over the last year and it keeps happening. Ford wants about $400 to repair. I discovered that a lot of people have this problem with this make and model and the taurus.

ted russell invoice # f1cs560238
dated: 1/19/2007
malfunctions that started February 28, 2007 are same as previously stated in referenced invoice as follows:
1) climate control blows hot air while on fresh air and ac
2) coolant light comes on; this usually happens with the malfunction of the ac control system referenced above. I can stop the car, turn everything off and in 15 seconds restart and light goes off. The coolant light will stay off as long as I keep the climate control off however; when driving for a distance (I. E. 30 miles) and then multiple start / stops in traffic the light will come on if I am running the climate control. Until the recent malfunction of the climate control Wednesday night (2/28/07) this coolant light has not come on since last repair to climate control. For information, the conditions outside were approximately 66 f. Obviously I am upset with the continued problems I am having after this vehicle spent one week in your shop for previous repairs for the same malfunctions. Additionally, I am extremely dissatisfied with the recommended repairs made by ted russell qualified professionals as discussed with you during my phone conversation yesterday.

I bought my car two months ago August 10,2003, from hoodriver Ford Mercury, and so far, it has been in the shop twice. While I am sitting,it dies and will not keep idling after 5 minutes. I have taken it in twice to the shop at the Ford dealer, and they have already cost me $48. 00 on my Ford credit card for a fuel pump. They also said that they put in new sensors too. I don't want to use up my full warranty in a few months. . . . Two days ago, I took it back and they put in four other parts with something to do with leaking valves and or something else. It is now sitting in the shop again, as they haven't resolved anything, it still will not idle for long. I tried to get them to replace the car with something else, but they refused to do so. Now, I drive for the senior services, and I need a dependable car that I can rely on for my work.
