Brake Foundation Components Problems of Mitsubishi Mirage

Consumer states while appying brake at 25-30 mph the pedal went to the floor, and causes a rear end collision and total the vehicle, dealer notified. Nlm.

Was driving 35mph & applied brakes which were going up & down. They failed to stop vehicle. Would shimmy or shake when making turns. Was going down hill, and went into a skid. Crossed double line to the left while trying to go right. Steering was uncontrollable. Another vehicle "t" boned the vehicle on passenger side. Air bags deployed. Vehicle was only 34 days old.

When consumer started vehicle the first time it cut off. Vehicle started to shake and just shut down on the highway. When she applied brakes pedal went all the way down to the floor. Also,there was no engine. She took vehicle to the dealership.

When applying brakes the pedal goes to the floor, causing extended stopping distance. Cause unknown. Vehicle steered to the right because of steering problem.

While driving on highwaywy suddenly approached a red light, applied brakes and the vehicle kept going on a flat surface. Brake pedal went straight to the floor. Went to a local mechanic and the brake boot was burned. They told consumer a chip flew out,and possibly started the fire.

Brake pads/rotors failed prematurely and caused a grinding noise while driving.

While driving at 35 mph rear ended another vehicle. Consumer applied the brakes and the brakes went straight to the floorboard, and vehicle didn't stop. Vehicle skided about 60 feet and collided with vehicle in front. It came to a stop, and the air bags on driver's side and passenger's side didn't deploy.
