Brake Grinding Noise Problems of Mitsubishi Mirage

Squeaking and abnormal grinding noise from front brakes leading to increased stopping distance, rims get very hot to the touch, increased squealing and grinding esp in city driving, all brakes and rotors were replaced this month along with alignment and new tires. Have had breaks pulled twice since for inspection and cleaning (did not help problem)car is unsafe and no one knows what problem is the cause, I do notice a large build up of black brake dust on both front rims, again these brakes are only a few months old, problem same with previous set of brakes. Car has 60,000 miles and was bought new.

The contact owns a 2015 Mitsubishi Mirage. While driving 45 mph, a grinding noise was heard when depressing the brake pedal. The contact coasted the vehicle to the side of the road and noticed that the front driver and passenger side rims were black with scratches around the rims. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that there was no failure to the brakes. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 4,354.

The contact owns a 2014 Mitsubishi Mirage. While driving various speeds, the brake pedal was depressed but failed to completely stop the vehicle. A grinding noise was heard coming from the front of the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer (don jackson Mitsubishi 4000 jonesboro road union city, GA 30291) where it was diagnosed that the brake pads failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure recurred every 9,000 miles. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to NHTSA. The VIN was invalid. The failure mileage was approximately 10,000.

When driving at any speed and applying the brakes, there is a grinding noise, and the brakes go straight to the floorboard.
