Nissan Altima owners have reported 1 problem related to automatic stability control (asc) (under the suspension category). The most recently reported issues are listed below. Also please check out the statistics and reliability analysis of Nissan Altima based on all problems reported for the Altima.
After making a right turn at approximately 10mph, the car felt like the car lost alignment and required a significant rightward turn of the steering wheel (between 1 and 2 o'clock) to maintain position in the lane. Additionally, amber abs, traction control, and stability control warning messages appeared on the dashboard. As I was less than a mile from home, I proceeded there on side streets, keeping speed below 20 mph. I parked on the street, and found the left rear wheel tilted noticeably inward and with less clearance in the wheel arch. Looking under the car, I saw the lower control arm broken at the pivot point where it connects to the chassis.
