1 Rear Suspension Axle problem of the 2013 Nissan Altima

The contact owns a 2013 Nissan Altima. The contact stated while driving 20 mph the vehicle began to handle roughly, the contact felt that the steering wheel was disconnected from the front wheels when the vehicle would contact a slight bump on the road. The contact noticed the "traction/stability" warning had illuminated. The contact drove to her destination and observed that left rear tire appeared to have separated from the rim. The contact had the vehicle towed to a dealer, where it was diagnosed that the control arm on the left rear axle had fractured. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer had been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 140,000.
